hi all iv got a manual tt,which has a straight through stainless exhaust, and apexi air filter, whats the best performance mod to go for next without spending over the hill, and what wouid the bhp approx be with what iv got at the mo.

i read some reviews and they state are cars are 300bhp and some say about 270bhp which statement is true cheerz greg

i dont want to decat either ,or change turbos at the mo,christ these cars are expensive as it is

official figures are 280bhp.

next stage is a chip & boost upgrade. cheapest way would be to get a home made chip from here & boost jets. the difference in power is superb! ;)

if your feeling flush & have too much money then invest in a custom mapped chip & boost controller.

you will also need an aftermarket boost gauge fitted & an uprated clutch (may as well fit a lightweight flywheel at the same time ;) :D)

how much have you got again????? :D

If you want to keep future maintenance bills down then I would strongly advise that you keep the boost down to a sensible level! - otherwise you will blow the turbo seals (over a period of time od course) which means engine out etc (£1000+ just to replace the seal, but most people upgrade turbos at this point and the price goes up!)

LOL, you should have plenty of change from that, even if you buy a boost controler :D

How easy is it to fit boost jets????

If i were to fit them do i really need to upgrade the clutch or anything else?

For the full kit an RPS Sport street kit is 340 quid, changing the flywheel for lite weight one at the same time is FREE labour usually, a tenner if they charge yer :( cost of flywheels start at about 260 upto 390 quid depending on which make you want.

See my site below for more details if yer like.
