I am just about to put new front brake pads in, and rebuild the calipers. The manual talks about bleeding the abs unit as well as each caliper, is this necessary ? if so, where is this abs unit that I bleed ?

Thanks

Hi John,

The ABS unit is in the boot under the floor on the RHS as you face the rear. If I remember, you might have to remove some plastic trim pieces.

I would follow the procedure in the manual for bleeding the brakes. ;)

Thanks Steve,

I'm thinking that if I clamp the hose near the front calipers I will minimise the amount of air getting in to the system.
