As a follow on from the cracked leather thread,heres some more info on what I done.

 

The main bolster was well worn,so I swapped it with the leather from the inside of the lower seat which is hidden by the tunnel.50p for button thread :)

 

Then rubbed the appropriate coloured dye ( a quid ) over the whole seats and rubbed with auto-glym cream leather polish.

 

place all you tips in here for people to share.

 

I will post more tips Ive found as we go along.

IMHO jobs a goodun compared to before pics!!

just try and stay on top with the leather conditioner about once a month should do it so the leather stays supple. but try and find some leather sealant so that the dye stays in the leather, dont no where to get this from will try and find for you of you want i can get mine from work, cause i work with in the leather industry!!!!!!!!!

Thats not carpets their original mats. I have the same in mine...Thick as persian rugs they are:D

Sorry but I have to ask - do you have one buttock that's much bigger than the other!??? - there's a funny dent on one side of your seat!

Most hardware/ironmongers have it,its called dylon ,doesnt have to be that make I assume,just make sure its permanent dye !! :smw:

I have seen 2 other ones on the island,albiet briefly..

 

Seen a red one with modded lights/bumpers going down the dual carriageway and a dark grey metallic one parked down from the stag coming from Northwood (where I live ).

 

Maybe could hook up to have a look over the motors,This is my first tt and would like to view another as a comparison :)
