Myself and Jaffa set to work on my car early this morning.

James300 arrived a little later in time for sandwiches :D.

Really appreciate your help today guys, made light work of fairly meaty tasks.

Here's some pictures.

Ok First we stripped this lot out.

Can anyone name all the bits ?. I doubt it

If anyone needs any of these bits make me an offer (UK rad is only 4 months old)

Next we fitted the underdrive lightweight pulley (thanks to PaulC for oncall support ;) )

We didn't say we knew what we were doing  taking it all out is the easy bit, puttin gnew bits all back in and getting the thing to work is the hard part ;). We'll be putting it all back together tomorrow, so feel free to pop by. Usually have about 4 Z outside my house at some point :D.

Chris,

Z1 motorsport in the states mate, but looking at it I believe it's just a brand new UK oil cooler, so I would try and get yourself a good condition UK cooler and save yourself about £80 ;).

How much do stock intercoolers go for anyone know ?

Trevz,

Make me an offer via PM before anyone answers the above question lol. When you say fan blades do you mean the viscous fan blades ?

Yeah the viscous fan blades - just the plastic blades as mine are looking iffy, kinda big splits in them, thinking they might take off and fly thru the rad!

I have no idea what they cost or the stock IC! Do you know if it fits an import tt, i would guess so.

How about 40 quid + postage for the IC and blade?

you can get them earl's oil coolers from places like demon tweeks. Maybee if you measure it before you put it in Stu we might be able to find a match. You will be happy with the pulley ;)

Paul

So after doing all that what do you think the driving difference/perforamnce will actually be?? Nice plenum by the way, I want a shiny one to but my mates take the mick when I mention it.

Stu,

I'm just waiting for a load of bits from Z1 at the moment.

Did it come with all the fittings?

I'm thinking of using my current Jap engine cooler for the new manual box and getting a bigger one for the engine oil.

I've got a Howe rad on the way and a few other goodies ;)

James300 arrived a little later in time for sandwiches :D.

with u lot been suvverners was it triangles with the crusts cut off?

Some nice kit there Stu, especially those Greddy intercoolers

Bloody Hell Stu, u have been busy havent u?

Well im gonna be down on saturday and if you lot are still at it let me know id love to see how far uv got!

Also let jaffa know about his part and that he can pick it up on saturday 2!

Fas

Well done stu!

The oil cooler looks identical to the one you get from Mocal, about £80 new!

I think new stock IC's are above £1k for the pair. I was hoping to get a little more than £100 for the set. How about £60 + Postage for the blade and IC ?

I don't expect any performance gain from the IC's rad or oil cooler, but I'm hopig to notice some difference with the Underdrive pulley.

I've done all the other bits in preperation for a nice safe cool running 500RWHP ;). Turbo's and injectors to come in the very near future.

Yes mate came with everything you need and more. ;)

Do the I/C drop straight on Stu.

Got mine to do at the weekend but wondering how long it takes to see if I can fit it in.

Cheers

Not sure yet mate, willl let you know by the end of today. They are on the list for today.

How much of a bitch was it to fit the underdrive lightweight pulley??

Got mine sitting in the lounge and am trying to psych myself up to attempt it!!

You certainly will m8 :hyper:

blimey stu, you got most of the gunk out of the way, just detach the stuff at the rear and take the engine out ;)

its a shame we don't have a local dyno pack RR, im well interested to see the results of the UD upgrade

well Myself and Jaffa are going back to Thor on the 24th (next Sat) so we will see if I can kick 360RWHP goodbye and hopefully say hello to about 380+RWHP.
