What is the stock boost pressure, I think I have a problem as the boost reads 6psi on the after market gauge but the stock gauge reads just below the end . Any ideas?

Stock is 9psi or 0.62bar.

7psi is safety boost.

Sounds like your car is in safety boost. Do an ECU diag check.
