I pay £330 fully comp on a Jap import with Direct Line but I am a lot older than you, with 6 years no claims.

Tesco's I think are usually the best,or bell direct.

 

Im 34 with none claims discount,and it was 1k,ended up getting the wife to insure it ( 27 full no claims ) was 650 quid , and I insured the punto for 250 :)

Houghton insurance quoted me today £173.02 full comp classic insurance 3000mls but i am 40, 9 years no claims, but i have 2 sp30,s on my licience and two claims (both no fault)

mines a jap import and its a 92TT hope u find a better price dude

was that with tesco though mate because I got a quote from them on a uk skyline and an import the difference was £10

the differance between import cars and uk spec doesent place to much on the insurance,the differance between n/a & TT are obviously way differant so for an n/a thats a lot of mo!

admiral for me, £1024 fully comp, 2 years NCB 1 non fault accidnt

 

I put my mum on as a named driver and that dropped the policy from 1475 to 1024 so try that as well :)

how does the 3000 miles thing work? how do they know what milleage u do?

well i just tried tesco and gave them all the details and said we can't insure you untill your 25, so thats that out the window

my mum as the second driver, a named driver on my personal policy.

 

with milage limited they will ask you for a record of your milage before the policy starts

yeah so say after a year i done 9000 miles, how would they find out?

it only comes into consideration if you make a claim, so if you have an accident and your car is inspected (which it will be ) you are screwed if you have gone over, you can always adjust your milage at a later date.

Ive got a jap import 1990 n/a 5000 miles fully comp collectors car £158 plus £15 legal cover and only £100 excess via houghtons with 4 years n.c.b. :hyper:

Just renewed mine. 38 yo, full no claims, 92 Import,TT. 8000 Miles, Fully Comp.

 

Houghton, wouldnt insure me as Z is not kept on private property overnight.

I got that cover for £580, but no garage and less no claims. Limited milage to 7500 a year which suits me fine.

yeah i phoned up houghtons but it had already closed, missed it by 5 mins, so going to hopefully try today

 

do i ask for classic insurance? and limited millage
