Well I know I asked a lot of questions before I bought my boost controller.

Today I finally got round to fitting the remote into the ash-tray. I'm fairly pleased with the result, though the fit of the lid needs some fine adjustment. I had to file away more of the ash-tray casing than I would have liked, so it doesn't quite line up the way it used to. I had planned to take an hour to do this job, but it has taken more like 4 with all the hassles! (the plastic is well brittle and cracks if put under any strain).

But anyway, here, for those who are interested, is the finished deal. Boost controller remote neatly hidden beneath the still functioning ash-tray lid.

Just have to get the rest of it fitted now!

looks nice mate, the gear stick gaiter are they universal as all the ones ive seen dont look like they will fit!!!are they all standard :)

Tony - no it's not too bad - as I don't actually sit too low in the car anyway, plus the controls are fairly simple, so I should be able to twiddle without looking in time.

Greg - no mate, sorry, the interior is all custom made - check out my rides section for more pickies
