Just bought another 300zx TT that was advertised as having a knacked autobox, my red zed has a knacked engine so I was going to take the auto box off mine and put in the blue one.
The blue one has done less than 40k miles, but needs a good service & MOT as the guy had it in his garage for the last nine months and the HICAS warning light is on. Oh and the body has some paint bubbling on it
The problem with it was the autobox wouldn't get out of first gear, we did the deal and then I took it for a spin. sure enough it wouldn't come out of first gear, until that was I switched off the hold button!!!!! :D
The gearbox is totally pukka & I drove it 120miles home without a problem :)
So, I'm going to get all the good bits I need out of my red zed, get the blue one 100% and then break or sell the red TT
