I spent most of yesterday refurbishing my Nissan rims.

Rubbed them down with 800 wet'n'dry emery cloth

Primed them with grey Plasti Cote primer

Sprayed them with Halfords Wheel Paint Silver

Sprayed them with Halfords Clear Lacquer

I am well pleased, looks like brand new, if they get me through the summer I will be well happy.

I was fed up of looking at the pitted, orange peel look of my rims. Its only about 90 mins per rim, and they look better in reality than the picture shows, and only £20 worth of materials

I have a couple of blemishes in the nut holes, which I will fix.

They look good - tempted to do mine then in a few weeks.

Did you rub down & spray the whole wheel, or just the visible outer edge?

Alex,

I did not take the tyres off, just sprayed visible area.

Definately a good short term fix, may even last quite a while, £20 well spent.

John

Look pretty good to me:)
