Mine helped in a big way..........

Plus it looks good too (IMHO!!)

All I can say is it works on cars with a bad earth, so if you put one on and your earth is fine and nothing happens it's just 'bling' but it will be helping the earth eventually as the current one, although not bad yet, no doubt will be!!

The bit I read about a positive charge turning the coolant in the rad into a very agressive rad muncher from the inside out due to lack of grounding was enough to make me get mine done.........

Worth the money IMHO........

I'll stop waffling now too.... ;)

Matty.

If your earth is bad, it will help and the car in general in most areas will run better.

If your earth is already good, it wont make any difference, but you have half a dozen or so earths so if one goes bad you have many more working well.

huh I pressed the link and it brought me this?!

As for the earthing kits, check out Ebay US, they do some even smarter kits.

 if you get in touch with Pete Shrimp on here he is the one selling on Ebay...... and his kit IMHO looks the Dogs aswell (when i get mine that is) Pete ;) :D

I was gonna say that Pete seesm to think they're worth the effort - but if you have earthing problems you'd probably know already!

There must be something in this lark though, i read Zsport magazine last week and stillen, avalon racing and HKS have fitted kits to the new 350z and seen improvements..

Cheers Matt  - yours is on its way this week mate :)

A Supra TT owner is testing one of my kits on a dyno at some point soon, so hopefully it might show improvements where people like them ;) Although BHP is not what the kit is about obviously...

Cheers

Pete

are you still selling these and how much are they and do you have any photos

Pete

I've no doubt that these are a good improvement/safegaurd _but_ it kinda makes the engine bay look like the back of my PC (cables everywhere) IMHO.

Does the kit come with enough slack to maybe tuck the wires in here and there, bundle them together along the 'routes' and make it all look a bit tidier?

Also a couple of the leads look like they have been 'daisy chained' rather than fed straight from the negative terminal. If this is ok then why not just daisy chain a couple of leads from the terminal around all the earth points?

I believe they are chained in order to make sure electricity takes the path of the wire rather than other routes

how are people crimping these kits? I don't fancy purchasing a masive crimper to use just once,

electricity will always take the easiest route (least resistance) so if the main engine earth is fine (& its capeable of supplying currant to the starter motor which far exceeds any sensors etc) then i cant see it making the slightest bit of difference TBH.

/\/\ark ;) - the kit is daisychained, the kits from the US you can buy are mostly "spider" shaped - now that looks like the back of a PC. Yeah theres enough slack, cable ties are provided.

Anyone got a pic of theirs fitted? Mike - yeah the gold terminal to go on the stock earth strap is mahoosive and I wouldn't fancy trying to crimp it with anything less than a vice ;), a soldering iron does the job...

Cheers

Pete

Pete ive fitted some of the gold plated battery terminals that you use in your kit but I need some of the gold lug's to fit the fat cables to them, where do you get them or can you sell me some?

cheers:)
