Is this anybody on here? look quite smart, not bad price too.

They keep cropping up. I dont know if it is the same one not selling or if some one is polishing them on the side. I think a few people bid for them but dont know if they won it or not.

I know who it is, they are on eBay as a tester ( just testing the market ). The guy has a few of them and is adapting them all the time to Z'ers requirments.

 

The final product with all the trimmings will retail around the £400-£450 mark.

should be good to have the inside polished, such a shame the plenum is a F*cker to get on and off. Will cut down the market to competent mechanics and tuners I think.

No disrespect to Dave but have you thought about doing it yourself NightWolf?

Just had mine bead blasted internally by a mate. As I knew him it only cost me a :duffer: but he said it would be £40 normally. He did say that bead blasting will not reach all the internal surfaces, only extrude-honing, where they force abrasive paste through will do this. There will be a slight improvement, but to really get the best results you need to spend a LOT of money and get someone to employ the "gas-flow" process.

I'm in the process of getting the rough cast finish off myself at the moment and TBH, although it takes time with angle grinders, dremels and wet and dry, it really isn't that difficult and it's very satisfying to see it start to look good! :)

Personally im not interested in paying for someone to do it for me, ill do it myself when I eventually take it off like your doing Friday. I stripped and gave my balance bar a quick polish up and was quite pleased with the result, not mirror like finish but nice and shiney! I dont mind getting my hands dirty and ill give anything a go.;)

I agree totaly on this one. Thing is to get the plenum to a near S/S finish it takes a hell of a long time. Its is that demanding that I am not even going to do my own. Couple of wet wipes and thats ye lot.
