Pulled the old thunder out of the garage to get the lawn mower out last weekend. Mowed lawn, put mower back and started the old thunder up to pull it into garage again. Puff of blue smoke from near side exhaust. Became very paranoid and got wife to check exhaust every time I start up when going into and back from work this week. Nothing. No blue smoke.

Pulled out of the garage today and came back to start the old thunder up about 15 mins later for a trip into town. Blue smoke from near side exhaust. :nono:

Blue smoke comes when the car has been started, turned off and restarted soon after. If the car is started, driven and then restarted, no smoke.

Does this sound like turbo seals or PCV's?

Its possible where it has been sitting that a small ammount of oil is leaking from the valves/turbo seals, but it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about, blown turbos smoke like james bond on overdrive with miss money penny

how many miles have you done? its defiently worth doing the PCV valves as part of a precautionary service,
