Hi all,

I am thinking about getting a big cambelt service done on my car but before taking the plunge would like to know if it has been done.

My service history is all in Japanese so is hard to tell from that. One thing I have noticed is a sticker stuck on my cambelt casing. See pic below.

Anyone know if this has anything to do with the cambelt being done in the past?

Cheers,

Justin

Cheers for the reply scoops,

This is exactly what I am trying to work out.

Matt, (MTL) had a look at it the other day and says that he got one of these stickers included with the cambelt kit he bought when he changed his.

Definately looks like the original Nissan sticker indicating recommended cambelt change at 100,000KM (60,000) miles. This sticker would normally be replaced at cambelt change with another indicating next recommened change interval

Looks like original cambelt sticker to me mate.

Mine's an import, but has no sticker

It's done 92km's, so will be due one soon anyway.

It had a Nissan rebuild @ 60km's (not sure of the reason!),

maybe thats why it has no sticker?

I'm guessing it was done @ 60km's, but i'll get it

done @ 100k anyway.

My car has 2 of those on my car and each one has the date it was done and the mileage when it was done.

mine has a UK one saying 90,000 miles,

either someone done it early or someone did it late, personally Im doing the next change at 120,000
