sorry guys,me again.when i first start my car the oil pressure gauge sits around 4 till it's warm and slowly drops to 0,is this ok?it's been like this for a while with no prob's but i don't know if this is normal or not.thanks for any advice.

The oil pressure sender is probably knackered, 9 ot of 10 Z's have the same problem, the senders are about £85 from nissan if i remember correctly, daylight robbery in my opinion.

according to hand book the normal range is between

one and six

which is what mine is

They are about $60 from the US :mad:

mine does exactly the same, seems to change its mind every time I start it up! No knocking noises yet so no too worried!

mine goes to 4 when cold

then drops to 2 when warmed up

Because these things go faulty all the time, who would be interested on a group buy of these from the US? They are about £40 over there and if we get 10 or so, we could get them cheaper.

 

Better than the £80 they charge here.
