My fingers are numb and im covered in tar, I cracked one of the lenses,

The left bulb has been done, the right wasn't

Unfortuently I cracked the right lense when installing it, so I am waiting on a reply from zxdriver for a replacement part.

They look really good fitted, pain to fit the first time, if you are in the southeast area I am happy to give you a hand if you need it, I can do each light in about 5 minutes once out of the oven.

has anyone else who have done this had problems with the bulbs not seeming very bright in daylight? that is my only real problem with them at the moment, if i can correct that i will be a happy chappy,

well done, shame you cracked one though. Are you using silvervision bulbs?

yes, silver bulbs, what ones are you using? they are very dim in the daylight

im waiting for a quote on the price of a replaement lense, I won't be happy if i have to buy the whole kit again

I done it Mike, just got some orange bulbs from the local Bullseye car parts garage.

It dont take long does it. I just made sure oven was warm and also heat them up when you fit back to car to melt the black shite so it sticks.

only prob is when you indicate the whole light doesnt light up, just the orange bulb and an inch or so of surrounding reflector.

yes, just the one buld,

jay: silver bulbs emit an orange light

on the back of standard reflectors is a small clear diffusser, I'm tempted to glue that in place, it shouldn't detract from the appearence but may diffuse the light more evenly across the rear,

they look great in the night

Mike, if I remember rightly, there is space behind the lense to put some silver baco foil. I have seen this done on the spoiler brake light it makes the light much brighter.

I know you will have to get the lights out again but I'm sure it's worth a go.
