JWT Sucks... he he he

welcome to the forum. the JWT is the american unit and im sure someone here will let you know a price. try lymon he may be able to make a plan..

there are many more companys that do ecu's for the 300zx

I.E SARD / BLITZ / TOMEI / BRAIN / MINE'S /HASEMI SPORT / RS / IMPUL / JUN / MOTECH /KS / BEER / PENTROOF / VEILSIDE.

You have to send your existing ECU to the US to JWT peeps, you have to provide a deposit aswell I think about $500 which you get back when your ECU comes back to you.

They will socket your existing ECU, provide the JWT EEPROM chip and I think this costs about $450 but as usual I stand to be corrected. AndyDuff posted about this recently.

If you go to GR Racing(Phuong's website) he sells the JWT Twin Pop with the chip upgrade for about $400. But you need to get your Nelson ECU socketed by someone over here. I know somewhere that does this but not prepared to mention on here so if you wanna know more drop me a mail.

P.S. £50 if you know the right person...he heee heeeeeeee! LMAO!

So if the jwt chips cost this much why is there so much difference in price compared with other makes eg se nissan.

Actually the JWT is the cheaper of the better ecus. it is a very goos unit, the Mines ECU Cost about a thousand pounds.

I think the S.E one is like a superchips one ... DANGEROUS!!!!!!!

go with the JWT, you'll be reeeeaally happy. I just sorted mine a few months back and it still puts a big grin on my face!

JWT is seen as the chip daddy upgrade for our cars. Mines is OK in Jap land where it needs the basic requirement of 100 octane fuel to keep it remotely happy! Mines can be remapped to suit our UK models by only a couple of reputable places here in the UK. Warren has a MINES ECU so he can tell you more about them. More for the hardened street draggers that they like to build in Japan.

JWT is basically the best all rounder, both for performance and reliability and to be honest you can't question the name of Jim Wolf Technology...they are the biggest and defo most popular in the US.
