Ooouch!!

I've just found out they are £40k before you start with the optional goodies.

Mmm!! I think you could buy 6 or 7 z's for that money.

Maybe I'll get the GT2530's and JE pistons and then I'll stop. ha

hey Steve, it's time to take your pil... you're loosing it ! ;)~

Got any of those pills for me.

On the way home today I decided I NEED new turbos. That's what the 555 program does to you...

(And a 6 pack of clutches)

How are those huge dual intakes and injectors Jez?

I think you can now supply enough air and fuel to run the full monty T28 or GT2530!

Did you suck up any cats or dogs on the way home? :-)

PS. There's still a smell of burning clutch around my place ;-)

Steve

I had a bit of a detination and overboosting problem on the way home, then managed to pull 1.86bar (inital boost!) with the AVC-R turned off. Quite amuzing really, to keep to my target 1.20bar I had to not exceed 55% throttle.

After a small search I found the AVC-R solenoid cable mind-melded into one big blob down in the turbo area. Anyhow, after a re-solder job and quick test it al went back to normal, no damage done! I think my ECU has learnt something after the ride, still deciding between 1.2 / 1.25 and 1.3 bar right now. Don't want any detination!

I think I may have a fuel leak, not sure. Maybe the upgrade has effected what goes on around the carbon canister?

The engine smells okay, while inside the car after stopping I can smell fuel the last two times. I can't see any leaks? As far as I know the only air going inside comes from just below the windscreen? But if it's the canister it must be some strange breeze blowing into the car?

I will keep checking, I'm going to mount my fire ext. in the car!!!

Apart from that, it tugs much harder, feels good. I think I must investigate the bigger turbo option!!! I'm also looking into getting a stronger clutch before this one goes.

Thanks very much for all the help. I think my car must hold the record for the quickest dual-pop and injector upgrade!

The video into the cylinder came eout well, I also found some extra footage of three bacon rolls on my engine! I wonder who that was???

nice one Jez, now when are you coming round to take me for a spin :)

how long did that lot take to do then ?

although i know how fast Darren works...

less than 4 hours for 4 springs and shocks replacement :) (with me on trim removal duty)

How long

about 11 hours from start to finish, including 2 hours to find somewhere to tap a thread and a curry.

I'll call in next time I pass.
