I hate to say it but i got the sack on friday after the supervisor who hated me since i started told a few porkies to my boss. I know its a long shot but anyone know to a job in the Wolverhampton/surrounding areas? I can travel within reason, im hardworking and reliable. Hope i get something. Thanks all. si. :cry:

If this supervisor told your boss porkies you can go to a lawyer.

You need to tell people what sort of area you work in - not everyone is IT here ! ;)

Happened to me in Sep last year over some bullshit porn crap. Threatened company with tribunal and was given a decent pay off to go quietly. Got a reference included in the deal. Not allowed to talk about it in any more detail (contract etc)

 

Def not the end of the world, back in work now, far better job and still got the mortgage and zed.

Definitely ask for evidence to back up these "porkies" and when none is produced, talk about a tribunal and unfair dismissal.
