I have a major fasicnation for these cars, I just cannot get my head around it and I am majorly considering getting rid of my 16v 2i to get one!!!!!

They are not that expensive to run no, but it all depends on what you want out of it and how you drive it.

If you want to seriously tune it then well the pit is bottomless as with any car, probabyl not as bottomless as with a Zed tough. LOL.

 

The S14 might be a better bet as they are newer and easy to get to ~300bhp and can be picked up for as little as £2.5-3k for a reasonably tidy one.

Jezz, not really a S14 lover, s15 yeah, but not the 14, I think the front end is kewl but the arse is horrid!

 

The s13 has it all for me, although u do have to fit an aftermarket front valance to finish it off, and some round rear lights!!!!

 

Adamr has one for sale that I am looking at!!! ;)

 

I do like the ford thing though, dead easy to repair, what are the 200's like to fix?

I've had 2 s13, cracking cars, even better value then the Zed for price / perfomance.

Yeah, the S14 is erm... The S14a is ok.

 

They are easy to fix, most SXOC people do a lot of work themselves, and a fair few like myself do everything, there are plenty of people that can help you with just about any question.

 

I'm not sure about the round lights thing either, the Kouki lights that were put onto the later spec (not released here) are pretty damn nice.

Well I know that he has (had) two of them, both of them roughly the same psec.

 

Funny story behind this actually!

 

I first seen the cars headign down the m1 past J19, obviuosly on their way home, Silverstone, j15a M1. I was in my 220 Coupe Turbo at the time, running about 220bp, good for 150mph+. I remember lookign over at the 200sx, thinking....'what the fook is that?'....admiring from a distance.......I decided to see what they were made of.

 

Now, I knwo the 220 Coupe turbio isnt anything special, but we've all got to work our way up.......I got right up the arse of one of these cars as they were swerving in and out of al lanes anyway, so I thought I'll have a bit of fun too! I then managed to overtake them all as my outside lane was clear, I got into the fast lane as it was now also clear and got up to 120mph (If a policeman is reading this, I am a liar!!') and both 200's came flying up behind me and it was at this point that I thought....'man, these have some power!!'....I nailed it and got up to 150mph and still going but they were right behind me and to the left of me, far too close for that kind of speed!!!! I then moved into the middle lane and they came flying by me!!!!!

 

After that little excursion, I turned Japanese and bought a 300zx!!!!!! It was down to them really, the S13 that changed my mind from Ford and Rover!!!!!
