does any one no how many are in the country ,and which are there more of uk or imports?

Not so sure, there were figures around for the number of uk cars supplied - you could probably get that kind of data off Parkers or something.

The buyers guide in Jap Performance (Nov 2002, IIRC) quoted that there are more imports registered at DVLA than original UK registered cars.
