Had my car On the RR today. with all the mods you can see in my sig it got 340bhp and 280 lb of torque.

Is this pretty good?

Is there owt else I can do (cheaply) to bump up the bhp now.

Im running 1mm boost jets and boost seemed to peak at 13 yet on the road the boost meter reads 14.5. Something down to loading I was told.

If I fit my boost controller I presume that would give me a little extra.

A boost controller should give you a better curve. Boost jets always cause them to over boost for a sort time and them come down.

Fit a lightened pulley and do another run. Be interesting what power it actually give.

you mean an underdrive pulley?

would a lightened flywheel make much difference coz thats the other thing I was thinking of getting.

from what I remember smithy does underdrive pulleys for about #120.

What bhp extra would this give me?

Cheers m'dears

No mod can say it will give you xxx more bhp because it also depends on the modifications it already has on. Its best to say a %age.

By what I have read it will give about another 6-8% increase. Its not so much an increase more of the power saved.

6 % thats about 20bhp not bad

Lots of discussion on this one and the predictions range from about 6 up 20 BHP. I believe it's more about the delivery though - you get faster pick up, so you turbos join in that little bit sooner.

Modding the car to go faster is not just about BHP readouts on a rolling road!

and by the way - the larger the spoiler the fit - the more drag you are going to have - so that could easily cancel out the effect of your underdrive pulley!

thats why I went for a low level spoiler ;)
