Would only use part worn tyres as a last resort if skint. You never know where they've been and you end up changing them every 15 mins. Sure you could get new tyres in that size for 60-70 quid.

well i only use my zed as a weekend car and i got thru a set of falken 451's 225 40 18's front 265 35 18s rear only fitted last january, ready for replacing, they cost 500 quid fitted looking at toyos for the rear and they run about 170 quid each !!!!!

p/w's rock especially when you are good friends with the fitter and get a full set of pretty much brand new dunlops for 60 quid ;)

at the rate i went through rears i always used part worns got mine from skins on rims manchester pem tyres also do them

got 2 P/W Bridgestone S02's (245/45/16) for £60 fitted !

From Hyde road tyres (Manchester) Cheers guys , well chuffed !

Beer monster,

Keep shopping around local P/W fitters near you, with a bit of patience you WILL find what your after (like me!) ;-)

P/W 245/45/16's are quite hard to get as it is, they are only fitted on few cars.:-)

when i put it on here if any one could get 18" tyres no one could tell me ,so if now u think u can get them for 60 new please tell me!!!!

these part worns where from "cheapest tyres"in coventry ,edgwick ind est!!!

Apologies, checked prices for 18" cant get for anywhere near £60. Didn't realise big price difference between 17" and 18", my last 17" tyre was £60.
