All,

 

Anyone shed any light on the following problems;

 

1. Biting point of clutch high up pedal travel.

 

2. Audible clonk when engaging lower gears,

goes in higher gears.

 

3. 'Graunchy' noise going from first to second. Bad when cold lot better when warm.

 

Getting NO clutch slip whatsoever, but had similar problem with a Renault (In a previous life!) and a new clutch sorted.

 

I'm guessing I need a new clutch, but wanted some advice first.

 

How much should I pay for atock clutch replacement, or should I uprate it?

 

If its gear selectors, are these expensive (silly question I know, but RELATIVELY). ?

Well i think a aftermarket clucth is a must if you are thinking of upping your horespower.

i have duel centreforce and am very happy with it, but quit expensive at 550 squid for clutch, cost me 110 squid to fit.
