Hi all

 

I took my zed out this afternoon for a blast up a rather empty A41 (sorry, private test track ;) ). On a nice clear straight, not a car in site for miles, I took it up to the limiter :x: .

 

Car felt fine, so I let it run at 145-150 for the next few (rather blurred) miles.

 

Since then it seem to be running even better. I drove home via the country lanes and burnt some more Optimax, it felt smoother and more responsive and the autobox seems to be more in tune with my right foot. It changes more seamlessly now too. :bow:

 

Anyone else noticed this? :D

Yes it is a private test track, mine :D :D .

To be honest I haven't had the opportunity to do the same recently, but who knows.

I remember going through Aston Clinton about 3am,not a soul about as normal,that harmless little kink/bend halfway through had to be taken on the racing line ;) but the best bit has to be the A41 Aylesbury to Waddesdon,in the early hours,used to use it as a test track for various abominations of cars we were messing with :)

where is 'Chalfont St Peter' then?

A41 from Aylesbury towards Watford. Right turn to Chesham. On to Amersham, turn left, through Chalfont St Giles and on to Chalfont St Peter. Easy really.............but not at 140 :D :D :D
