GuyZ I need to get my bodywork sorted on the old TT. Looking is age a bit now (1990). What should I expect to pay for a respray and spoiler fitting. I have some quotes but they seem rediculas. What have some of you guyZ paid. Would also quite like a big spoiler.

 

Is the Z Center the only place for your car to be seen? I know they do an excellent job but I live in Woking Surrey.

I had my Z done recently, belive me you want to get it done right or its not worth it.

I had a complete strip, new spoiler, lots of unseen rust sorted and a concourse finish repray in a different colour(white to Purple/blue) The body shop also waxolyed the car to too help prevent any further rust.

 

I got the spoiler from Luke at the zcentre looks the dogs b*****ks but make sure they fit it right as I've seen some dodgy one put on!

I payed £3500 + vat but thats was for all of it. It also took 8 weeks to do and has to go back for another week for final detailing now the paint has cured.

They do a complete strip of the car, and then if you want you can change the colour.

This will also ensure you get to any rust, and get treated.

 

They charge around £1500 for the job, but this includes stripping the car to a rolling shell.

I've just had an email from them confirming that it's £1500 + PAINT + VAT for a complete respray.

 

Guess materials are going to be £300-350 so an all in total of £2200 is probabally more realistic.
