In the past when i have painted blocks etc.. ive used high intensity paint from Halfords but i cant remember what temp the paint goes to because it get bloody hot in the engine bay of a Z. Wouldn't mind knowing myself!

Sperex do a high temperature engine block enamel, but you will have to look on the tin as to how high temp, really need something endorsed by NASA to take the heat of our engines, doubt it would be any good on the belt cover but should be ok for the balance bar.

I've used a brake caliper paint from halfords on the block its about £20 its still on there 8months later
