And a road-kill - me...

By a black M5, sorry! [hangs head in shame]

Was on a moorland road - after two yumps I decided discretion was the better part of valour and slowed down rather than overtake the next car. He went straight past both of us on a blind bend - so I might have lost out but I'm considerably more likely to stay alive in order to enjoy the car some more! (Erm, and I think it would have been the end of my relationship if I'd pushed any harder LOL)

They must have cracking suspension on them though, he didn't seem to be struggling to stay on the road at all...

No shame in that,i could not for the life of me catch a Pug small thingy on back B roads once, good fun but if i was to go round the bends at the speeds he did i would of ended up in ditch,we live to fight another day ;)

On the way back from the RR day at THOR, my mate in his Citeron AX GT thing was absoluely flying round the sharpies. I couldn't keep up with him until straights or long bends. Needless to say my Z was running like a Bag'o'shite and his brain was sitting on his passenger seat in a jar. I just wasn't really interested in wrapping my Z round a tree on a road i didn't know.

Kicked his ass down the M69 though, i think he was doing half the speed i was when i over took him...........So he was doing 35mph then officer;)

Rich:D

..and there's not a lot wrong with the way M5s are put together! Let's face it, fo £60+K you would expect them to be fairly sorted!

actually, I quite fancy one of the new 500bhp V10 one's that they're supposed to be bringing out later in the year. Where's that lottery ticket.....?

Get your suspension and shocks sorted. Infact get on to Chris at GeGready and join the group buy for Eibach lowering springs and Koni sport ajustable dampers. :o We only need one more for the discouted price. Lets face it the Z is a bit of a barge on stock set up, but on the wright springs is a different animal. My wifes Celica TDR wee's all over the Z on anything bendy.

I'm gonna later in the year, but my irrelevance of desire doesn't stretch as far as yours! I can't see the point of mega suspension on stock wheels, and I can't afford both just now. :(

And doesn't make the bugger any lighter, does it...
