GTO NEMESIS, just to make this the final answer to the on going question of which car is fastest, the majority of us from both clubs are into modded cars, I'm sure we have 1 or 2 of our members running STOCK vehicles as I suppose your club has, bring them along and we will see which is the ultimate Jap Supercar. My moneys on the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZed every day of the week. Let us know GTO NEMESIS so we can organise our guys, Stock cars should be inspected prior to lift off just to confirm they are runnin' no mods !!!!!

Ok, it looks like elvington is the choice.

I will contact them today and see what dates are availible along with prices.

So far looking at the numbers on the poll there doesnt seem to be much interest? I have visited the 300ZX site and they are in good spirits for kicking our arse's... (some people do dream alot!)

 

I think we should run the following sessions just to make it more sporting as an N/A 300ZX vs DMC's beast would be a bit of a non event! Funny though!

 

N/A GTO vs N/A 300ZX

Modified GTO with NO boost contoller vs Modified 300ZX with NO boost controller (PS. Bleed valves are not allowed either before you try it! )

GTO's with boost controller vs 300ZX with Boost contoller

And if there are enough car with NOS or Propane we could put them together too.

 

I think that the over all winner should quite simply be the quickest 1/4 mile. The idea of the seperate classes is purely to make it more interesting to watch. It will of course give us all a good idea to see what difference staged mods make to each beast.

 

Let me know what you all think, these are just my ideas, i'm sure you all have your own!

GTO Nemesis, I think there should be a top speed run, as 1/4 mile run don't give a true rep of the cars.

As well as the 1/4.

If I can get my motor running properly by then I'll have a go. Never done standing 1/4 before. Having said that I've also never come across a FTO that can live with me either. So even if I don't run my car could still be fast just watching :tongue:

Boys a little bird told me that these guys have SEVERAL machines running over 500Bhp.

Apart from the obvious, how many Zs are near to this.

 

Dont know when this battle is, but once my motor is run in. Iam having my NOS fitted. Along with 5Ks worth of toys. With the help of a new found contact, my machine will KICK ARSE. This contact currently runs 2 x 150bhp NOS systems on his Z, and has a rolling road. He has offered to dyno it and set up the NOS along with the other bits.

 

Just thought on, his Z runs 700Bhp without the NOS, I will see if he wants to come along.
