Cleaned the AIV valves, Throttle bodies, cleaned tps, reset ecu and put some injector cleaner in the zed on saturday, I still havn't got round to fitting grounding kit but the zed is running better than ever :), Its a lot nicer when you do these things yourself, it took about an hour to clean the TB's, it was a bit worrying on startup, had a rougher idle than what you would expect with 2000cc injectors :D, also a lot of smoke, but i did get trough a can of carb cleaner....

Will the engine idle at 1000 RPM until it has gone out of learning mode or do I need to readjust the TPS?

Next weekend Im going to fully strip out the AIV's for proper cleaning as there is still a very slight gurgle which I assume is just some water that was stuck elsewhere that couldnt get drained, fit grounding kit and boost gauge and turbo timer.

Then its a total oil change (gearbox, diff and engine), spark plug change, fix a slight leak on the NPS and she will be ready for proper for spring :).

Halford are selling axle stands for 10quid a pair at the moment, I'm defiently going to invest in these as its scary to work on the zed under the jack.

My only injury was smashing my head on the front discs, nice bruise there now, women love bruises :).

The car is defiently becoming less daunting mechanically as I slowy do more stuff to it, jobs that take an hour now I can probably do a lot quicker next time and they also aid doing future jobs quickly.

My toothbrush had a funny taste to it this morning though...... :D :D

Yeah you always feel you have done something for your car and not just paid some one to do it.
