Anone with pictures of spoiler removal/no spoiler?

I have searched this thing but all it will come up with is matches for 'spoiler'. Someone has posted pictures of their spoiler removal, I'm sure. I'm going to trawl the rides, as I am thinking of doing it and I wanted to see what was involved. Maybe get it done by the blokes who sorted my accident damage as they did a good job.

i have had the spoiler removed from mine....but i dont have the standard rear window. i went for a tailgate conversion. could email pics if you want..........hey you live down the road...not literally!

Who did it for you? - zcentre? I don't think I'd have the tailgate conversion, although I do like it. Saw a lovely wide-arse black on the z club gallery with Strosek kit all round including the tailgate. The light conversion looked great on that too.

I was just thinking of getting the spoiler off and the replacment panel from the zcentre put on.

..?

ooooh- ouch. Doesn't look very nice. mind you the ones I'm remembering looked worse- someone had to hack at it with an axe it looked like.

Of course, you can clean all the messy goo up once you've removed the spoiler!, but you still need to fill the holes - which looks better than the tailgate skin IMHO

So you can just fill it and get it painted? What do you do with the rectangular slit above the boot lock? I think it probably would look better. The skin leaves a little raised mark doesn't it, along the boot line.

Yeah, Luke sells a strip to go across the vertical face, it's £35 I think, instead of the £85 for the full skin. Best practice is to get the holes plated from below before you fill them from the top. Bodyshops that have done zeds before seem to want between £200 - 400 to do the full job with the tailgate respray.

Look at the pictures from the Midlands Meet (taken by COS). Mine is on there and shows just how good the Zd's look without the "tail". Manx is best!! ;)

Cheers
