wiseco pistons are ok. :)

On of the SXOC traders is doing sets for the S13 or S14 for £329. There's only 4 in a set though. :)

The zed is a shelf stock part probably in the states as the Zed is a popular car, whereas the 200sx ones are make to order as the CA18 and the SR20 are not imported into the states at all. Hence why they are cheaper.

Hi Scoops.

Yeah they do have the front of them marked. Apparently Wiseco's original pistons didnt have front marked forward but these do.

They look slightly different too as the ones I got I think are like version 2 of them

I spoke to the person at the place I got the rebore done and he said the pistons will be good for well over 450wbhp. People in the US who have them only change them when they are going for over 600wbhp and even then its not been proven that they cant take it.

You can see on the right of each piston a dot, denoting the front of the piston.

They are also lighter than stock pistons. Stock where 408 grams with rings but no pin and the Wiseco where 320 grams with rings but no pin. All in all half a Kg lighter. It all helps.

The picture of the pistons in the engine are nothing like what I got and they are slightly different to the ones pictured on the box.

Hopefully we will see what they are like in a few months. We will have to wait untill then ;)
