just got back from kent,had a very interesting tussle with a bmw space cruser thingy had something 6 on the back with two square exhausts!!,it was seriosly quick,80 to 140 nothing in it at all,road was damp so couldnt push to the limit,but it seemed he would have been there,just wondered what it was,and is it turboed. :confused:

I have a vid somewhere of a race prepped X5 with the M5 lump bezzing around nurburgring, I doubt it was that but pretty cool. :)

defo bmw,just seen another in town only this was a X5 with very small exhausts,nothing like as big,it was defo very very quick!!

Biggest engined X5 IIRC is the 4.4 V8 (same engine as 540/740/840). In stock form it would be no match for a ZX as we can stuff the 5, 7 & 8, so a heavy 4x4 should be a piece of pi55.....

 

However it may have been an Alpina conversion........ :eek:

thats what i thought as well richard,but im positive it was X6 ill keep an eye out for another one,the accelleration on this thing was as good as my tt.
