Ever have times when your car feels more amazing than usual? Where no corner is too sharp, and your zed feels on rails, and feels quicker than usual?

 

Since the weathers been getting drier I've been loving every minute of driving the zed, moreso than usual. It feels even pokier, like its breathing a lot better. Dunno why? :confused:

 

I fitted a new FPR last week, and a new injector connector. Could be the effect of the new FPR? Cant see how that would make it grip better lol, maybe thats just extra confidence in the car. Anyone else get this - where you car suddenly kicks ass even more?

I have 2 kids and a zed (they slide in the back easily) you will have 1 baby .....will easily fit in a baby seat in the back

But I think it's probably your FPR - I keep doing really minor things to the fuelling system and each time it gets a bit better, even though I'm still on stock induction.

 

I think the better it's running the more confidence you have in it, and therefore the harder you go! It was the first thing the missus noticed when I got the silver one...

I also think this time of year you've got used to driving in the wet, and you forget what it's like on a cold crisp dry day when you have to treat it rough to get the arse out.

 

I also find some days the plan all comes together on gear changes, and other days it doesn't...

I just love my Z! What a car, what a bargain. I don't know what would possess anyone to ever buy a rep mobile or 'family' car (unless they were a rep or had a family!).

Of course Pete, it could be the level of ionisation in the atmosphere - your earthing thingy (you are the guy with the earthing thingy aren't you?) probably makes your car more sensitive to atmospheric ionisation.

I put a bottle of midichlorian booster in from Jedi Motors (turn left at the swamp, can't miss it ) - that seems to have helped too.
