Took the car out last night for it's first outing down the M4.........bugger me this car's fast!!!

Had a 928 Porsche which i thought was quick then went for a non turbo 300zx liked it but got bored.......sold it got a lovely UK TT and have to say it's faster than my old 928.....the pick up from 80 to 140 was amazing!!!!

Anyway i notice the the cruise light comes on in the dash and i can hear a relay switch in but when i press the switch on the steering wheel nothing happens????

Any ideas

Cheers

I presume you weren't touching the brake or accelerator at the same time? Or going too fast? ;) It wont work at 140 :D:D

No just pressed the button on the steering wheel and took my foot off the accelerator, the revs just started to fall????????

uk at 30-90 I think and watch that the cut out microswitch under the brake pedal is not set too sensitive otherwise it wont hold in

Easy way to check the adjustment of the switches ;) Put your foot under the brake pedal and pull it up towards you then try the cruise :) If its a manual then its more likely to be the switch on the clutch pedal - do the same test for this :)
