oh how i've missed you =)

well the hurricane is almost here in Florida, hard rain is crashing down on us, so what do I decide to do? something I have'nt done in a about 2 years, too long.......

I took my Camry out to a school parking lot, and hit about 45 - 55mph, pulled the e brake while turning, did 360, and 720 rotational donuts, drifts, and fish tails. smile.gif

surprisingly enough the camry did pretty decent and was fun to drive(I'd NEVER do this on dry roads with the camry), and my friend all scared holding onto everything he can lol.

it was fun smile.gif

lol i did my first ever one at trax (yup never ever ever done it before) and i have to say i did a damn good job to, except the bloody guy (no names mentioned)andy ingram wasent filming properly lol, will have to do some more before i replace rear tyres.

i love donuts, and not the jelly filled kind wink.gif

It would have been nice if you told me you were gonna do a pull off AND a donut. OR, done the donut once you had finished the pull off rather than sit around for 5 minutes contemplating the meaning of life (or praying for your tyres) smile.gif

I'm up for trashing my tyres now so find a car park and we'll go waste over £1000 worth of tyres in one go!!

Andy

ask johnny and the rest of the crew that were in manchester on tuesday about the doughnut meisters performance...........if any of you know manchester well picture a doughnut session on oxford road outside allens fried chicken and the chemist with a full audience.........only the meister would contemplate such an audacious show

Tooly i think i liked what i did at trax and now have a craving for it so i think i shall soon be taking over your spot on the top lol

Tooley,

I saw the video of you donutting(?) at that cruise site. Cool LOL

Do you need skinny 225 tyres to do this donut stuff or can anyone without mechancal sympathy do it?

Anyone can do it. I was amazed at just how easy it is. I was thinking that it would be a bit tricky on an auto box (without reving high in neutral and dropping into drive) but its easy as pie. Just full lock and put your foot down. Tooley's top tip for donuts with an auto box:

put it in drive and leave the overdrive on.

This was exactly the opposite of what I thought you would need to do (ie stick the box into 1st). Tooleys the expert so follow the tip!!

Hmmm...

Might just try that later wink.gif

If I can find a quiet carpark...

And then later a packed highstreet.. Lol biggrin.gif

Viva El Tooley Generale Presidente!

The dognut gold medalist...Aiiii! Booo seeelllecccttttaaaa!

Tim

;-)

Ah but the meister has 18" tyres to buy now. Will he be going into retirement and passing the donut crown to Warren?

Paul

ps. The old grannies who were drinking flasks of tea in the Rothersthorpe car park probably hope so!

i can get 18'' runners as easy as 16'' now so the fun will be even greater with more surface rubber to put down they'll be that much smoke i can make my own weather fronts lol.....having said that the rears are still not quite on yet still being engineered due to a small oversight on mine and johnnies part but hey them wheels sure looked big under the arch lol
