So there I am sitting on the A12 stuck in traffic after they closed the road because of a serious accident, so I'm sat there amounts 3 lanes of traffic, roof off enjoying the sun but going nowhere. I notice blue smoke coming out from under my car, look in the rear view mirror, LOADS of blue smoke, so I'm thinking Foooook the turbo seals have finally gone, *****x, big repair bill coming up! Anyway the traffic moves a bit, still smoke, moves a bit more, and then the smoke seems to go away but there is still a definite blue haze behind me. Now I'm paranoid and watching for blue smoke like a hawk but it seems to be getting clearer, then it disappears! The truck I was sitting next to catches up with me on the slip road, then I notice it, it's trans axle is pissing out oil and blue smoke! The crosswind must have blown it under / out of the back on my car.

So my car is ok after all, :o :o :o Just shows you how you can always assume the worst with these cars :D

Ok I'll get my coat :p ;)

Well I got Smoke pouring outta my drivers side pipes :D.

It's quite funny, as i only happens afer sitting in traffic for a little bit, it clears as I start to move again.

Was speaking to Mac to see if it's what he had with his piston and was speaking to my other mate to see if it's what he had when his turbo's went. The good news is that both cases were different and I doubt it's the valves seals. Mac reckons it's the PCV valves so I'm gonna try and change them this week to confirm his threory .

Well saying that I'm getting a little worried you know.

I took her to SE last week to get the rear ball joints checked. Surely enough they were on their way out, but they quickly checked the oil as I told them that it seemed to be burning a fair bit. They couldn’t find any leaks but again my level was very low…. I'm gonna have to start checking this fooker on a daily basis.

They reckon that it will burn a little oil after the engine rebuild. I only had new heads and 1 piston replaced FFS !!!!!.

Can someone confirm this is the case (the rebuild oil burning bit, not the bits I had replaced, I already know what they are :D)?

If this carries on I got a feeling it's gonna be an engine out jobby again !.
