Evening all .. since I've had her since Wednesday, I thought it was high-time I shared a few pics of my new baby. I know it's not the standard fodder for 300zx.co.uk, but I have to say I've now done 300 miles in the car, and I fooking love it!! :hyper:

So, here's a few piccies for your delectation, or disgust - whatever takes your fancy, really!! ;)

Anyway, enough for now, suffice it to say I am grinning from ear to ear. Once I've clocked up a few more miles, I'll add my own thoughts to Andy P's excellent write-up on his week spent with the 350 ...

For now, all I can say is Woooooooooohooooooooooo!!

CheerZ,

JB.

Thanks for the feedback guys .... not even any need for fire protection! ;)

(Not even my Bad-Mutha-F***in Fish Feeding Suit, Mark!)

As I say, I'm gonna post my thoughts on the difference in driving experience, pros and cons etc, once I've clocked up a few more miles, and taken some better piccies (eh, Stu? ;)).

For now, suffice it to say, I'm enjoying the car more and more, and she seems to be loosening up a bit, now I've covered a whole 300-odd miles :D

CheerZ,

JB.

Nice one mate,at first i did not like em,but now seeing all the aftermarket stuff coming on for them, and what they can now do to them in the US and Japan i now think there well up there, good value for money to say the least,so you'll be looking at some mods then :D ,bit like this maybe

Tony

Tony

I must admit, again, diddnt really like the 350 to start with but its grown on me, think I might have to get meself a test drive in one!

Anyone else ever test driven one?

Very nice JB, received the Apexi BC ok thanks, its with Jeff now.

Nice one JB. Really pleased you like it. She does look nice. I wasn't too sure at first but they have really grown on me.

You must bring it to the next meet around your way.

You got used to the handbrake in the wrong place yet ? Clearly designed to be LHD.

Nice one john-boy, I took one for a test drive on friday and have to say was very impressed. I still stand by my one pet hate with the car though....what is it with those bl@~*dy door handles.

So whens it coming up north for some PPS treatment, can do a cracking range of body kits  :hyper:

PETER

Looks cracking JB, this is a must for all the meets.......you fookin showoff!!!! ;)

That yellow one looks to have a front mount yet it reads that it has 287 N/A horse power, N/A means not turbocharged right??

N/A means not turbocharged right??

Yep.....Normally Aspirated.

Anyone else ever test driven one?

Yes. They're really nice to drive, fantastic seating position, visibility surprisingly good, chassis and suspension setup tight as you like. The active stuff doesn't feel like it's interfering but keeps it fl-a-a-a-t no matter how you chuck it around.

Didn't really get to test the go pedal, because the demo car was still on the run-in period - but for an NA it doesn't half pull below 4k! (For same reason I didn't try turning off the active bits either)

BIt quiet though!

I Want One!

Thanks guys for the positive feedback ... it's a real pleasure to own and drive.

To answer a few specific queries ..

Mac, of course I'll let you know *when* a stock Z kicks my butt - let's face it, if we're racing over 1/5 of a mile, it's a done deal, isn't it? ;)

Andy, about the handbrake ... didn't even notice until someone of a "larger frame" was in the passenger seat, then it suddenly became obvious. It's still easily to hand though.

Peter, don't think I haven't already thought about providing PPS's first 350 to transform, but, for now I'm brassic mate, so it'll have to wait! :( I do have some ideas though ..

B19rks .. A show off, moi? Surely not.

Cheerz guyz, appreciate it ..

JB. :D

Thought a pic of a red one would please Mac,especialy with the 19inch Hart wheels, bloody lovely, oooooooops, hope i not given you more ideas Mac,look at the Gauges, plenty of room for more :D

Tony

it looks better than I thought it would , from a woman's point of view i don't like the centre console the quality doesn't look that good,

I'd like to drive one though just for the experience

When a stock Z kicks your ar$e ?.

I don’t think suck a thing exists anymore :D.

Pretty much everyone has at least one mod surely. Is there anyone on this forum that has been here a year and not done any mods to their Z ?. If so, that's Will Power !!!.

Congrats JB,

Looks great,

I have a feeling that there may be one of these entering our household as some stage in the future (after the new house of course :D ).

Personally I'll stick with my 300  for now

;).

Good to have you back from your holidays James :D

Not seen a red one Tony, but I must say it's much better than the shitty brown bronze colour that promoted the car when it was released;)
