I think they look the part but with poor performing US engines it will never be as good as it should be.

Less than 80bhp per litre, that is terrible for a NA Super car. Ferraris make more than that and are missing more than 2 litres.

You need to find a picture of the control stalks, they are direct from a ford focus, seriously poor. Considering the price it sells for, Id want custom made control stalks, only a small point, but a point nevertheless.

Like the LOtus GT3 had Nova control sticks :(

And I suspect that it has more to do with Italian supercar handling than a Corvette! (just going by the obvious styling influences at least)

 

But I agree, there's a hell of a lot of competition if you're spending that kind of money - hey you could even have an Ascari!

Watched a race at Knockhill with Saleens among Corvettes various Porches of the 911 type, Ferrari 360 Modena, Lotus Esprit, TVRs, Morgans. etc. The 2 Saleens killed all of them for dead - big lazy V8 just left em for dust on the straights and cornered fine too. It was like Le Mans racing cars against sports cars. No contest.

Corvettes are nothing special and neither are Porsche 911s except the turbo, Morgans are slow as hell and I have never rated the Ferrari 360, they look boring. :(

from what I've read about saleen, I doubt very much the handling of S7 is crap, far from it!

 

And is having stalks from a focus (although I couldnt find anything to back that up) such a bad thing? at least if you break one it will cost £10 instead of £100!

it must a question of taste but i think its one of the best cars ive ever laid my eyes on.......and ill bet it would muller most things on the road

360's are far from boring... 400hp and it's a ferrari... it's just sexy. I drove my friends 360 F1... he needed new tires when i was done with it... lol... my Z is faster though...

 

the S7 is an american car which means... it's shit. i was born and raised in the US and know firsthand the shitboxes they put on the streets. the s7 is no exception. The vettes blow, stangs suck, camaros are for retards and the firebird requires an iq no higher than 20 to own.
