buying a 300zx

how much should i pay for a uk zed white in very good condition but has no tax or test and is on a k plate ???? but not shaw?

this car has 1 owner i think from new and he is dead now

ive just found this car in a warehouse next to mine and it belongs to the boss of the warehouse i rent he was 80 years old and died last year

the car has been in dry storage since and forgoten about

Go a £1K tops. Possibly lots of recomission work - sound bodys are easy to find (Jap imports) but if the mechanicals have perished then you've got trouble. At the very least it will need a 60K service + all fluids before you evan try to run it.

the car runs spot on and starts first time as they send someone round to start the engine. it just needs a good run but i thought about £1k to be on the safe side

In cases like that it's worth

a) what you're willing to pay

b) what they're willing to accept

 

Whichever is more advantageous to you. ;)

It might run fine but I really would give it a 60k before using it in anger. That's several hundred quid or so for a start.
