Hi all, does anyone know what pressure the space saver spare wheel should be inflated to, cant find the information anywhere, thanks, Richard.

I thought it might be marked on the tyre itself but on this one its not, just my like, so can anyone back up 44psi? dont want this to blow up in me face at the moment its only got 10psi in it.

Just read all that - clear as mud. I THINK it means inflate to 33 or 36 as appropriate, as per normal.

That's the maximum pressure of the tyre before it bulges or what have you, not the pressure you should inflate it to. That's how I read it, leastways...

I think its more like 60psi. I had the misfortune to have to fit one on my other car a couple of weeks ago. Definitely 60psi on that. Not even the same diameter as the other wheels. Had to keep below 50mph and remember not to do anything daft. The ABS light also came on with it - prolly cause the 2 front wheels are travelling at different rpms to each other.

Incidentally anyone ever used the space saver to mount a 10" sub inside. Seems a possible use for it!
