this is the first time ive tried building a pc ,it took me 2 hours and the money i saved is brill,ive gone from running a 1.7 athlon to my new 2.8 pentium 4,the difference is amazin

 

stack 80 quid

soltek motherboard 59 quid

pentium chip 150

power supply 7 quid

512 ddr memory 50 quid

floppy 7 quid

 

ive taken some parts off my old pc, dvd palyer,cd rom, spare hard drive i had ,so now i have a brand new system for half the price i guess i would pay for a ful new sytem

 

if anyone is in need of upgrading their sytem and needs any advice feel free to give me a call,also if ya live near enough i will be happy to help you fit/upgrade ya pc for nout

you done a TT conversion into a convertable FFS!!! :D

You should have a go at the old 486 before plug and play. You had to set up the IRQ and DMA of everything before you put it in. :eek:

 

Well done though.

LOL!! when plug & play 1st came out it was more like "plug & pray"!! :D
