Hello mate how is it?

I thought about a two point puller from Halfords but I think it will **** the arms up.

Chris..

yeah wiggle them for a while, spray some WD40 and after you get pissed off with it just give it an allmighty pull and it will come off in your hand and you will be amazed lol :D

Pop round to mine Chris I'll sort them for you ;)

I could not free mine for love nor money!

Gave up in the end and sprayed them on the car!

WD40 is rubbish - use Plus Gas.

If they're stuck hard you need to use a small puller.

If they're stuck really hard, then just paint them on the car !

I'm planning on painting mine soon. Any advice on preperation, finishes (e.g. matt or satin)?

Cheers

David

Hi Dave I have resprayed my wiper arms three times now!

Without taking them off. Sprayed the with mat paint from Halfords. Paint still comes off! PITA!

I just want to replace the flitch panel's. The old ones look so bad, all pitted and flaking.

I'v had the new ones about six monthes now.

I'll be spraying the wipers at the same time.. Satin black is the only colour..

Has anyone got one of those little plastic domes that go over the bolt head? I got one missing

Going to try this....Draper Wiper Arm Puller

Nice one, looks the business. I finally got mine loose by loosening the nut a bit, me pulling them really hard while an assistant tapped them with a bit of wood and a hammer.

Cleaned them with wire wool and meths then painted with halfords zinc undercoat then satin black. Look good as new, still raise a small smile when I look at them now :)

I had mine ,eched+primed+sprayed silver. Two front ones and the rear.Grills at front done in same silver. Then fitted silver Razo wipers all round with silver rubbers.Luvley Jubbly. The body shop was against the idea at the time. :slap: But when I picked the car up he had to agree my choice suited the car.

I thought mine where stuck - the trick is when you have the nut off - to push down hard at the end of the arm and pull up at an angle from the other side - mine came off in seconds and I was amazed - until then I'd tried all sorts and nothing would budge it.
