This is the trim cover under the steering wheel. What is the plastic rectangle plate for? :confused:

Ive put a light in where that was ! It didnt appear to do anything at all!

behind it is the AC duct, which has a similar dent on it, maybe some models had a filter you could remove?

Just thinking of doing a re-trim, so thought I'd ask what it was for.

 

 

Thoughts........... Ermmmmmmm, Re-trim the interior, or sort out the cold starting problem.......................... looks like a re-trim is in order :D weather's getting warmer anyway ;)

Or is that just wishful thinking!!???

On the convertable zeds an extra heater outlet duct was fitted there, assume the Nissan boffins felt a bit of extra heat in this area would be required.

 

The vent is adjustable up and down, fitting the vent is quite easy, you have to just cut out the duct above the press out panel with a knife and it all clips in place.
