Have just had a fiddle with your user settings. Invisible mode is now enabled and I frigged with your avatar - just to prove that it can be done. Just pick a small image and it should be fine.

Andy your a star mate Thanx, I've tried a few piccies for my avatar though on Photosuite and Paintshop 7 and resized to 100 pixels etc and entered it and bugger me everytime it still comes back as image too large ???

Make them smaller in actual disk size, not proportion size

I saved mine as a Giff, that made it a smaller file size, and worked. Before that I had the same prob as you, as I was saving it as a Jpeg.

 

Open your pic, then press 'Save As' and change the file type from Jpeg to Giff. Job done :D
