There is a little potentiometer in the speedo that I think adjusts the accuracy ....

I think if the speedo is out you will be very lucky to get it right as you will be adjusting it hit and miss, I know because I tried it on a Mercedes with no joy and a wasted day.

Hi

I believe you have a simple case of sconversion, when some plank fitting the replacement speedo face has not followed the instructions on how to zero the needle. Have a look at this page: http://www.f-e-s.demon.co.uk/Speedo%20faces.htm . You should be able to correct prob.

I came across Far East Services after seeing a discussion on the site re: converters that caused problems, and vouched for by members as producing the only non problem one. Very helpful and knowledgeable lot if you need help.

Regards,

Dave
