try supercars.com

they have road test statistics.

is your car a 2+2 or a short wheelbase.

i think roughly to 60 = 5.5

to 100 = 14-15sec

quartermile is 14.00

i could be wrong

I read an early article which had the following stats for a standard 1996 UK TT Manual;

Weight(Kerb) 1605kg

0-60mph 5.9 Seconds

Max Speed 155mph

On the road Price £35115

Touring Fuel Consumption 24.5mpg

Insurance Group 18

Engine Capacity 2960cc

Power 275bhp@6400rpm

Max Torque 272 lb/ft@3600rpm

0-60

I've often seen 5.7 for a 2+2 in mags and 5.5 for a 2+0.

1/4 - I did 15secs at Santa pod, with bad gear changes.

Direct from the original UK series 1 brochure

Manual

Max Speed 156, 0-60 5.6

Auto

Max Speed 152, 0-60 6.1

Curb weight

Man 1585 KG

auto 1595 KG

UK Series 2 Brochure

Manual

Max Speed 155, 0-62 5.9

Kerb Weight 1605 KG

Auto

Max speed 155, 0-62 7.5 (honest thats what it says)

Kerb Weight 1615

The increase in weight is probably due to additional cats and/or side impact protection bars.

If you REALLY want the rest of the info the brochure has all the spec.

Grant

thanks lads
