can somebody with the wide bodykit and fuel tank extension tell me if the fuel tank is still pressureised?? i dont get any hisss when the fuel cap comes off and dont know if thats cause of the bodykit or whether the fuel pressuriser on the engine is buggered

it should always be presurised.

Hows the car driving apart from the lack of hiss ?

Mac/Chris/Martin/Jaz, you still get a hiss right ?

the car driving is fine, have been getting quite poor mpg considering its an NA but put that down to the idle problems ive been having which are now solved,

slight fuel smell while driving but am getting round to replacing the hoses! just no hiss, the fuel cap looks ok.

I still get the hiss, maybe the fuel neck is not sealed right.

thanks, are there any easy checks i can do to try and track down the cause? or is this going to be a garage thing?

sounds like you should speak to whoever fitted the kit and the fuel filler extension...

should have gone to PPS !??

def still get the hiss mate, make sure the funnel/extention pipe for the arch is completely sealed and is not leaking when u fill up?? i thought mine was leaking but the hiss was a definate assurance that it wasn't.... ;)

thanks - at least i know its not meant to be like that, had found some posts on tt net about the lack of hiss, am i right in thinking that it could be a number of things from hose leaks, filter etc?? or is it more likely to do with the fuel cap/funnel seal area??
