I was a bit pro-active this year and booked me and SMW 1 a hotel room actually in Billing Aquadrome for the Jap Auto Extravaganza on July 24/25. It is the Northampton East Premier Lodge situated on Crow Lane at Billing.

 

When trying to book it on the internet I found that were no rooms available for the nights of 23/24 July. :eek: After phoning them I discovered it is because they only allow a minimum of 3 nights stay over that weekend. It turned out that 3 nights in a standard double room for 2 adults was £150. I felt that this year it was worth it since last time was a bit of a hassle finding a cab late at night to go back to the hotel we had further away. :duffer:

 

Hope this info helps anyone who is planning to stay at Billing.

they have always been like that for early bookings

ask to speak to the manager and if he don't do nothing ask for the area manager and so on

Last year they said they were fully booked up in january and turns out they wern't

 

feel that we shouilkd get all the people attending the JAE this year to do a protest march past the hotel during the event with placards telling people not to use them

I Booked last December , pretty sure Mac , (PPS Peter) and Ginger are booked in aswell , should be a good crack
