I went for and was successful in getting offered a position with the MOD in Germany.

I am single, living with a partner.

Now MOD saying they do not recognise partners,FFS this is 2004!

And if she comes to Germany to live with me she will be an illegal tennant!!

Will not be able to work with the english community, no health cover, ect ect!

Well now not sure I want to go!

It would have been for 2 years and the solution (which turned out to be a mistake) was to get married !

Cheers Andy, we def not getting married! She is not that desperate!

My job is open, 1 year contract renewable on that basis.

Put in for 3 year career break from NHS, so got a job to come back to when I want.
