Hi there,

I changed my cam belt and all was ok until i started the car. The cam belt job was a good un' but my electric fan at the front has come on and won't go off. I think its a n intercooler fan(is that right??) .Should it be on constant as i pulled a piece of paper/carboard out of it or should it come on after a good thrashin'. I have never heard this before and i've had the car 6 months. Why o Why do these thing happen. Just as you conquer one thing another happens........ :(

Have u got the engine temp sensor plugged back properly after doin cambelt?

give it a wiggle fan will stop.

Yup, yellow connector on the upper rad pipe. Watch your hands on that fan though ;)

Same thing has happened to mine today :( ive tried messing with the plug but it's still the same. Duffers i'm counting the seconds till i get upto yours :(

Its probably a bit corroded, normally a wipe of the contacts with a bit of sandpaper, a squirt of wd40 and it should be good as new, mine used to do it as the cip was a bit loose, so i wrapped a cable tie around the clip, its been fine ever since.
